The design runs along the chain rather than sitting on it. A gold-tone vine of leaves winds the length of the bracelet with small pink blooms opening along it and one larger flower at the centre, so the piece has a direction and a middle instead of a repeating pattern.

That matters on the wrist. A bracelet with a clear centre sits properly on top of the wrist and the eye finds it straight away, where an even pattern just reads as a band.

It fastens with a lobster clasp and carries an extension chain, so it adjusts across a range of wrist sizes without a fitting. Fine chain, light on the arm, comfortable under a sleeve.

The anti-tarnish base is the practical reason to choose this over a cheaper flower bracelet. Pieces like this get worn for a wedding and then sit in a drawer for four months, and ordinary plating comes out of that drawer dull. This one comes out looking the way it went in, which is most of what the extra money buys.

The stones are pink cubic zirconia, small and evenly matched. No pretence of anything else.

Pair it with a plain kurta where the pink can be the only colour, or with a pastel outfit it can echo.
