Gold-Toned Filigree Heart Pendant on Rope Chain
Filigree is an old technique, fine wirework twisted into lace-like patterns, and even a plated version of it carries some of that history in the shape. Here it's worked into a heart outline, hung from a rope chain thick enough to hold its own weight of attention rather than disappearing under the pendant.
The gold tone is plating, not solid gold, and filigree work translates into plated metal well since the pattern is about shape more than material purity. At ₹89, this is one of the more detailed pendants in this price range, mostly because a rope chain and a worked pendant are usually sold as two separate decisions rather than one.
Keep it away from moisture and store it somewhere dry and airtight. The open filigree pattern has more surface for discolouration to start in the gaps than a solid heart shape would.
It's built for a heavier, more finished look than a thin chain gives you, at home over a solid-colour kurta or a plain sweater where the chain itself gets to read as jewellery rather than just a delivery system for the pendant.
