Four letters, one of them cheating. This little charm spells LOVE in polished gold-plated capitals, with the O swapped for a heart-shaped clear stone in a smooth bezel, so the word carries its own punctuation. It is small enough to sit on a fine chain without shouting and solid enough to feel like a proper object between the fingers.

Word charms live or die on their typography. This one keeps the letters thick and even, the finish bright, and the single stone placed where it does the most work. Premium quality with a durable finish is the maker's claim, and the piece backs it up in hand.

What you hang it on is your call. It suits a plain chain at the collarbone, joins a charm bracelet without clashing, and works as the keepsake you give with intent, an anniversary, a first Valentine's, the friend who got through a hard year. Ideal for casual as much as festive wear, it does not demand an occasion.

Keep it dry, wipe it soft after wear, and the plated shine stays bright between occasions. A second Love charm lives in this catalogue with plain letters and no stone; this is the sparklier of the two.
