LOVE, spelled plainly and polished bright. The four golden letters are joined into a single solid charm, thick in the stroke and clean at the edges, with no stone and no flourish, which is precisely its appeal. Some words are better said without decoration.

A word charm this legible works anywhere type works: at the base of a short chain where a collar frames it, stacked on a bracelet between busier charms, or hung on a gift before the wrapping goes on. It suits new couples, old couples and the self-love crowd equally, since the word declines to specify.

In the interest of honest listings, this charm arrived with us as a name and a photograph, and its material details are unconfirmed; we will not dress the gap in guesses. If something specific decides your purchase, ask and we will check the piece in hand.

Worth knowing: this catalogue also carries a second Love charm whose letter O is a heart-shaped stone. This is the plainer, quieter twin. Keep it dry, wipe it soft, and it stays bright.
