Rainbow Baguette Eternity Ring

The stones go all the way around. That is what makes it an eternity ring rather than a half band, and it is why this one keeps working when your hand turns, since there is no plain back to swing into view.

The baguettes are channel-set, which means they sit between two rails of metal with no prongs between them. Colours run in sequence around the band, from red through to violet, cut as small rectangles that meet edge to edge so the colour is continuous rather than dotted.

Channel setting is the practical reason to like it. Nothing catches on a dupatta, and small stones in a channel are much harder to lose than small stones in claws.

Rainbow bands are one of the few pieces of fashion jewellery that work equally well alone or under a stack. Alone, the colour is the whole outfit's accent. Under a plain gold band, it becomes a line of colour peeking out.

Cubic zirconia in this many colours would cost a fortune as real stones, and nobody buying this expects otherwise. What you should expect is that the colours stay clear rather than fading, which CZ manages and dyed glass does not.
