The ends of these glass bangles carry hand-painted stripes, a detail that shows most clearly where the bangle catches the light at its curve, in a choice of five colours: green, white, amber, lavender and black. It's a more decorative finish than a plain glossy or smooth bangle, with the hand-painted work doing the visual heavy lifting.

Because the striping is applied by hand, expect small natural variation from one bangle to the next rather than machine-uniform lines; that's part of what a hand-painted finish means rather than a flaw to look out for. Five design numbers and two sizes, 2.6 and 2.8, are available, so there's a specific look and fit to choose at checkout.

Suggested here for gifting, it works well in that role: a considered, detailed piece rather than a generic one, in colours that range from a soft lavender to a stark black-and-white contrast depending on which you pick. Handle glass gently, and the paintwork holds up well to normal wear.

At ₹249, the hand-painted ends are a specific craft detail that a plain-finished bangle at the same price doesn't offer.
